dwgs from Autocad Plant 3d

Hi

I am architect using Open Building Designer CE.

We have a project where the client uses Autocad Plant 3d and we get dwgs from them.

We just want the geometry so we can design the building around the plant.

Can we reference the dwgs directly without risk of missing some geometry?

Or other problems like slow loading/panning/view updates in rendered views or slow Dynamic Viewes?

I have heard of object enablers?
