I am running into an issue while I’m trying to configure OPPID to company standards.
I’m using the dialog box method for placing the equipment symbols (similar to control valves) vs creating a specific class per symbol. I’ve done this in the past on previous versions with success.
The issue I’m having is, when I add “Schematics CAD Custom Attributes” to the AGITATOR class, and this change is stored in a site specific supplemental schema with precedence level 370.
I’m not able to create “Tool and Icon” using the Component Manager. I’ve tried moving the change to OpenPlant_PID_Supplemental_Imperial.01.07.ecschema, I get the same result.
The work around I’m using is to add “Schematics CAD Custom Attributes” to a sub class of AGITATOR, like ANCHOR_AGITATOR, then it works.
I have no such issue while using the same procedure with BLOWER class, I can add the cell reference at the BLOWER class level and I’m able to create “Tool and Icon” using the Component Manager.
What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven
