AUTO PLANT - VISION

Hello,

I am learning Auto Plant V8i and following the Bentley Learn server Plant Design Fundamentals. 

I have been using the document manager for placing equipment and have continued to use it for placing piping.   However, I notice that the training is requiring to use Vision for piping instead of the Document Manager.  What is the difference between Document Manager and Vision?
